The Jayy Starr “Soft Courage” music video was a fun shoot. We shot the entire video in less than 10 hours.  Jayy really dove into character and nailed the concept.

When I showed up with the concept, wig, mask, and CSI wardrobe, she probably didn’t know what to think. I appreciate working with artists that respect my vision and this was the 2nd music video that I’ve directed for her. The first video we shot for her is the “Face Off” music video.

What I appreciated most about this particular track/video is that it’s not the traditional big bangin’ hip-hop track. There is a lot of meaning in the lyrics. If you haven’t already noticed, I prefer to tell stories in music videos.
