The “Every Day” music video was a magical shoot. I had a ton of fun working with Alissa and Brandy Ingram (the lead female). We had a few thousand applicants, and Brandy was perfect for the role. She was fun to work with, and did a great job becoming the character. We ended up shooting the video over two days. Alissa is just an amazingly talented artist. Her songs are deep, meaningful, and emotional. As a director, these are the type of songs and videos that I enjoy directing the most.

The concept for this video is very unique. I didn’t want to lead the viewer in a specific direction. Sometimes you don’t have to spell everything out in life. I want to viewer to come up with their own interpretation of the video while they listen to the lyrics. Besides… Alissa’s Grammy nominated lyrics speak for themselves.
